Opportunistic records were made for avifauna present at wetlands in 5-20 minutes’ scan from moving vehicle, forest camps and watchtowers. A total of 111 species have been recorded in the wetlands. They include resident and migratory species. Among them, 14 globally threatened and 11 near threatened species were recorded (including ferruginous Pochard, Common Pochard, Baer’s Pochard, Spot-billed Pelican, Greater Adjutant Stork, Lesser Adjutant Stork, Black-necked Stork, Pallas's Fish-Eagle, Oriental Darter and Swamp Francolin).
